In September 2021, the new book series "Lives in Chemistry - Lebenswerke in der Chemie" has been launched. The series is a project of the GNT-Verlag GmbH on behalf of Fachgruppe Geschichte der Chemie in der Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh). The new series "Lives in Chemistry" consists of autobiographies that provide insights into the lives and thoughts of outstanding research scientists in the context of the times they lived in.
Shorty after the launch, in October, UniSysCat group leader Prof. Martin Oestreich from Technische Universität Berlin joined the board of "Lives in Chemistry". He is proud to have been appointed as a new boardmember: "It is an exciting task!", he says.
