UniSysCat and SFB1078 invites Prof. Dr. Sharon Hammes-Schiffer for a joint seminar on the 9th of December, 2020. The topic will be on Proton-Coupled Electron Transfer in Catalysis and Energy Conversion.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Kroutil, University of Graz, will speak on the topic of extending the biocatalytic reaction and cascade repertoire for organic synthesis.

Prof. Dr. Franziska Hess will be holding a presentation on the topic "The search for a new Deacon catalyst: modeling catalyst stability across the periodic table". The presentation will be about a computational catalyst screening process to test for catalytic stability for operating conditions.

Prof. Dr. Anne-Frances Miller, University of Kentucky and Einstein Visiting Fellow at the TU-Berlin. will provide insights into how electron bifurcation can exploit abundant cheap fuel to drive demanding reactions. This colloquium will take place online. More information coming soon.
